Summer’s finally arrived, and for Japan, that can mean only a few things: a scorching summer sun, colorful firework displays, and vibrant summer matsuris or festivals filled with good times and good food. So come one, come all! Step into the ultimate summer festival this season, Okashi Matsuri: The 100th Box


This summer is extra special for Japan Candy Store because we’ve finally arrived at our 100th box! To celebrate, we’re hosting the grandest snack fest - Okashi Matsuri: The 100th Box. It’s filled to the brim with all iconic candy, premium confections, and all the tastiest treats you can think of.  Want a preview of what’s to come? Pokemon Ottoto Biscuits 

~Character Biscuits~

Festival flavors: Light, crispy, slightly salty 

Snack stats: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ottoto biscuits are light, airy, and crispy biscuit treats that have a hollow center that makes them oh so addictive to eat. They melt in your mouth with every bite! Buttery and lightly salted, these Pokémon-shaped treats will make you want to eat more and more. 


Amanoya Salted Tomato Fried Senbei

Festival flavors: Slightly salty, slightly sweet, refreshing

Rice crackers or senbei are a staple at any Japanese matsuri. This special fried rice cracker is seasoned to taste like lightly salted tomatoes. Refreshing and light, it’s perfect for the summer! 

 

Yuki no Yado Rich Milk Rice Crackers

This cake snack is somewhat similar to the popular treat, Tokyo Banana in taste. Shaped like a cake sandwich, this moist and fluffy cake snack has a center filled with delicious banana cream accented with banana syrup. It’s light and yet luxurious at the same time!
