Sakura blossoms and leaves are usually toxic to eat, but Japan has found a way to turn these beautiful flowers into yummy treats to eat! They use a process called shiozuke, where the cherry blossoms and leaves are cured in a salt solution. When they're dried out, they become sakurazuke, edible sakura products! They're then used to flavour candies, ice cream, and can even be used to wrap around mochi.
